In this modern world, it is very difficult to find young couple like Jack and Rose. Many even criticize that the story is childish. But, I do believe that there were many like Jack and Rose in 1912. Only that, lovers like Jack and Rose are getting fewer and fewer nowadays. Personally, I do believe that the more modern the world would be; the harder we could find Jack and Rose from this tiny earth; which I hope would not be true. To me, my grandpa ( born in 1922 ) was similar to Jack and my grandma ( born in 1929 ) is similar to Rose; only that, my grandpa and grandma were much luckier than the Jack and Rose in Titanic. Although my grandma is not a perfect woman, not highly educated and also not from a wealth to do family; but my grandpa who was an excellent scholar never ever looked down on my grandma, instead he married her, loved her and cared for her dearly until he died. The last thing he did before he closed his eyes and got into unconcious, was buying vegetables from the market for my grandma to cook. He cycled all along the way to and fro every day for my grandma. I think he would always be very happy to do all the favours for my grandma even got scolded by my grandma sometimes; coz to me, my grandpa was a person who understood the real romance behind a marriage. Thus, even he has now already passed away; the favours that he did when he was alive are still like magic that could make my grandma smile and feeling proud. If Jack and Rose in the movie are said to be innocent; then I will say, their innocence is the beautiful and noble one. At least, not many of us in this modern day would have that courage like Rose to leave her rich fiance and ignore the mean society's eyes for a poor artist like Jack; and not many guys would be like Jack who is willing to sacrifice his life for his love to survive. Although my grandpa and grandma had a very simple marriage; but their's was everlasting one. What I love to see here is from a simple picture; we see the wonder.
