A nice song for our Ex-Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir. He was definitely the right person to build a modern Malaysia albeit personally I would not say he is a perfect person as no one is perfect. I like him especially when I was in my early 20's for his intelligence in bringing Malaysia into another era; also, he was very handsome, lolz. I was so moved when I watched him crying on the stage the moment he announced to UMNO that he was going to retire. It was a moment where most of us shared the sadness of his leaving in front of the television and through his drops of tears, I believe we saw something in this old man's heart. What one saw through his tears, could be something different. To me, it was like the tears of an old man who was going to leave his child and he knew that he would not be going to see this child again. I was pretty worried too at that time on what would Malaysia become in the future without Tun Mahathir after his 22 years in office. Then, after he stepped down, I started to hear a number of rumours on him. He was blamed for this and that and so on by some. Well, to be frank, I am still very grateful to this man who had once been so eager to keep Malaysia moving on; in order to be on par with other country. No matter what he has done or said to others, Malaysia never slept during his time is a fact. He is 86 years old now; may he always be blessed with good health and long life. Hope 'a peace of mind' always be with this old man, our always handsome Tun :)
